Purple Heart Day celebration August 6, 2021

At 6:00 p.m. on August 6, 2021, at Blythewood Town Hall, Mayor Bryan Franklin and the Members of Town Council will remember and honor the braven men and women who were wounded on the battlefield or paid the ultimate sacrifice for our Country and our freedom.

The National Anthem will be performed by Vance and Jeannie Sharpe and the hisory of the Purple Heart will be given by Mr. Rich Roszelle of the Department of South Carolina, Military Order of the Purple Heart, Purple Heart Recipient, Sergeant First Class Harold Palmer, USA Ret. will also be introduced at the ceremony.

The cermony is open to the public and light refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the ceremony.
