Many thanks to all who contributed to the success of Blythewood Oktoberfest 2020.
Despite the unprecedented times of Covid-19, it is refreshing to witness a community come together in the production of this event which we hope to be a Blythewood tradition for many years to come.
Thanks to the Town of Blythewood, SC Department of State, Department of Commerce, DHEC for their cooperation and assistance in approving and supporting our efforts.
Major sponsorships from The Town of Blythewood, Thermal Technologies, Founders Federal Credit Union, Bath Fitter, Beverage South, Charter NEX, First Citizens Bank, Lever Repairs, Little Pigs Barbecue, and State Farm-Sandy Khan Agency helped to produce the on site portion of the event.
Thanks also to contributions from B-79, Blythewood Eye Care, Carolina Wings, Chichester Nationwide Insurance Agency, Doko Smoke, Drayer Physical Therapy, Edward Jones-Chris Eaker, Edward Jones-Debra McCutchan First Community Bank, Grow Financial, and Law Offices of Shannon Burnett as well as the many local merchants participating in our inaugural Volksmarch event to kick off the day’s events.
6 bands plus sound and emcee personnel, 33 vendors, the staff of Doko Meadows Park and many volunteers along with RCSD and EMS personnel and great weather contributed to a safe environment for the enjoyment of all.
Finally, thanks to all attendees from our community and those from near and far who came to help make this a great day for Blythewood.
