Nice attendance at our June Monthly Breakfast Meeting at Doko Manor.

After recgnizing new members Glenn Motley – AT&T Services, Sheila Moorer – Avon Lady, guests for this month, monthly community reports, and announcements of upcoming chamber events, featured guest speaker Bill Ellen, President/CEO of Experince Columbia and Vice-chair with SC Travel & Tourism Coalition provided insight into the significant Covid-19 effects on tourism in our state this past year and the challenges facing us all as we enter the “post Covid” era to include supply chain disruption as well as personnel employment issues.

This month’s Breakfast Sponsors included the Town of Blythewood, Kornegay & Moseley Funeral Home, Providence Health – Northeast. and First Citizens Bank with breakfast offerings catered by Killian Road Chick-Fil-A.

The June meeting represents the last Breakfast Meeting of the chamber fiscal year with FY 2021-22 to begin on July 1, 2021.

Mark your calendar for the return of the Town of Blythewood annual Red, White, and Blue production and fireworks celebration on July 3, 2021, at Doko Meadows Park.

Our next Monthly Breakfast Meeting will be held at Doko Manor on July 13, 2021, and will feature our annual presentations of the Chamber Scholarship Awards for 2021, to the deserving winners, introduction of the FY 2021-22 Board of Directors as selected by the membership, announcement of exciting upcoming Chamber events, followed by our annual business meeting with featuring an  “Open Forum” format to express your ideas and suggestions for the future direction of your Chamber.
