Thank you to all eligible citizens for taking the time to vote for their candidates of choice.

Thanks to all candidates for their efforts in vying for these important positions of leadership for the Town of Blythewood.

Congratulations to the 2 candidates receiving the highest number of votes Sloan Griffin III (Incumbent) and Rich McKenrick for their succesful campaigns for election to the Blythewood Town Council to serve for the next 4 years and joining Mayor Bryan Franklin, Mayor Pro-tem Eddie Baughman and Councilman Donald Brock (each with 2 years remaining in their current seats) for these important positions of leadership for our fast growing Town.
The population of the Town of Blythewood has more than doubled form the census of 2010 and 2020 and all indications are that this exponential growth will continue into the forseeable future.
This significant growth is accompnied by many challenges to provide the appropriate infrastructure, services, and amenities for our citizens and we pray for a collective and unified voice from our elected leaders in mitigating these challenges.

Finally, we would be remiss if we do not extend our thanks and to honor Larry Griffin for his signicant efforts and past years of service on our Town Council. We will miss your steady hand of guidance.
